A few more characters from my backyard. I have not named them yet, I thought I would let them show me who they are first. 🌻❤ Some of you might remember a few years ago I was really hoping to see and photograph a cardinal, when I lived up north. Well I bought a house in Rochester this year and the neighborhood came with a resident cardinal couple. His wife was way more camera shy. Those yard bunnies are great, they love dandelions! Look at this squirrel, he froze there for a few minutes acting like I didn't even see him!

I had another full circle moment this year with photography. I took pictures of her when she was a tiny human. Now she is mighty and a force and headed off to take the world by storm! I was dared by a friend to use some current slang. So all I’ll say is this. This session ATE! For many reasons, not just because she is gorgeous but because I got to see her family again too and take pictures of them at the same time and watch this family unit love each other and be happy to be there! For some of us, it’s the end of summer this weekend. It was warm and sticky and smoky, but summer is still my favorite! Smart, Sweet, Stunning just a couple ways to describe her. We walked around and she took little to no direction because she posed so naturally and effortlessly. The way she carried herself in this world was gentle. It was a pleasure doing these for her! This special lady and her mom came to visit me down here from the Brainerd Lakes Area.
