A big thanks to Dan Hughes for helping teach our intro to 4x5 film last month! It was a huge success and we made some great photos. Let us know if you think we should do another one!

To our community -

Many people have reached out with suggestions, offered support, and asked how they can help. Honestly, we are not sure yet what moving forward looks like or what we need. We are working with RPD and insurance closely and hopefully quickly to better understand the full gravity of the situation.

We do not want to put out a GoFundMe because we don’t know the full extent of the cost of damages and what insurance will reimburse us for yet.

What you can do to help:
* If you would like to support us with your dollar, please shop at our store or order prints online via our website.
* Continue to do what you do best and shoot more film!
* Please share any information we post, and talk about the incident.
* If you find out something, please say something. Contact us or RPD with anything you think may help us identify the suspects.
* Special order camera equipment and pre-pay; we have no inventory right now, but if you are looking to purchase a camera or lens, please contact [email protected], and if you prepay, we can get it on order for you.
* If you really love us, please write us a Google review so that more people can find us and rally with us.
* Give us grace and understand we might not meet our standard turnaround times.

You can also sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date. The next Gracie Gazette going out will have more details about what we are doing next.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support from our community; it’s hard to keep up with the volume of messages and comments, but we are so grateful for you all. We will try our best to continue showing up for you guys as you have for us ❤

Hey guyssss, if you know something please contact us as soon as possible.

At 3:56am we had a burglary, they were in the store for less than a minute and went straight for cameras.

Please excuse our mess and lack of inventory 🙃

Season 2, Episode 2 of Maker Moments features portrait photographer Jamal "Cheeba" David.

Deeply rooted in Rochester's Kodak legacy, Jamal uses portrait photography to uplift his community and show the next generation what is possible. Through his camera, he creates a genuine dialogue, building authentic connections between himself, his subjects, and his audience.
