If you read the last post, you met the woman who started it all.

Now it’s time to meet the guy who decided to jump in and see where this thing could go. 😎

Meet **Will.**

He may not have been there from the very beginning, but once he came along, it didn’t take long for him to become part of the story.

What started with Jordan showing him a few tricks around the Canon slowly turned into Will learning how the business works, learning how to chase the shot, and discovering that there’s a whole lot more to photography than simply pushing a button.

Now, he’s Jordan’s sidekick turned partner-in-crime.

Will brings a different perspective, a willingness to learn, and a willingness to follow Jordan into whatever crazy adventure happens to be next.

And around here, “next” could mean just about anything.

Cars. Bikes. Sports. River releases. Mountain adventures. Action shots. And the occasional family, senior, or posed sports session when it’s time to slow things down and capture the people behind the action.

The best part?

We’re not trying to fit photography into one little box.

We want to chase the stories. Find the angles. Capture the moments. Go where the adventure takes us.

Jordan started JK Phillips Photography with a camera, a willingness to teach herself, and an eye for the shot.

Now she has Will beside her and together, they’re ready to see just how far they can take it.

Two photographers. One crazy adventure. A whole lot of stories waiting to be captured.

If you’ve been around for a while, you may have noticed a little change around here. The name **JK Phillips Photography** came along after I, (Jordan) married Will, and somewhere along the way, the business gained a second photographer, a second set of eyes, and one heck of a sidekick. 😉

Here's a little bit about me first. The founder. The owner. The OG photographer behind JK Phillips Photography.

I taught myself everything from the ground up: figuring out Adobe, learning the ins and outs of a Canon, and spending countless hours behind the camera trying, failing, experimenting, and learning. I'm still picking up new tricks of the trade every day, but there’s one thing I've heard over and over through the years:

“You just have an eye for this.”

And that’s where the magic happens.

My artsy side comes alive when I'm faced with a new challenge. Whether it’s finding the right angle, freezing a split-second of action, capturing the personality behind the subject, or telling the story of a place or event through a photograph. I'm always looking for *the shot.*

And now, I don’t have to chase those adventures alone.

Will started as my sidekick, learning the ropes around the Canon and getting a taste of what goes into making the business tick. Somewhere along the way, the sidekick became a partner in crime. 😎

Together, **Jordan & Will** are ready to chase the action wherever it leads - cars, bikes, sports, river releases, and all the wild adventures in between. And yes, we’ll still make room for the occasional family session, senior portraits, posed sports portraits for the moms and dads, and all those moments worth slowing down for.

This business has grown, changed, and evolved and we’re just getting started.

I started it. Will joined the adventure. Now we're chasing it together.
