This image was from one of my last official photo sessions of the year due to a painful knee injury. I was incredibly grateful for this family's willingness to accomodate my inability to move around with ease and a gorgeous field of wild grassses.

Some weeds of the side of a path and sunlight can make for a terrific backdrop. Truthfully I don't think there was a bad picture from this session.

We almost had to reschedule mini sessions this day, but thankfully the rain held off ( for the most part). The thing about days like this that can be great for photos is that colors can really pop even on the gloomiest of days.
