With over 20 years of experience in the wedding industry, owner Rob Jones provides meticulous attention to all the details of your special day. We offer various packages to meet your needs at a very fair price. Our wedding videography includes (depending upon the package chosen): Getting ready pre-ceremony coverage, First look, Highlight reels, How we met Love Story, Weddings and Receptions. All

the moments are captured and edited using multiple high quality HD cameras and microphones. In the end, we produce and deliver your memorable day on a DVD and/or flash drive that you will treasure forever. Special event videography include: Celebration of Life, Birthday Parties, Graduations, Anniversaries, Family Reunions, Recitals and others. We also transfer video tapes to DVD and/or USB flash drive. Formats we can do include: VHS, VHS-C, Beta, MiniDV, Hi8, Digital 8, and regular 8 tape. Lastly, we can transfer silent Super and Regular 8mm Film.

The Story Behind What We Do...

We are Rob and Lubeth Jones, a husband and wife team. At a young age I (Rob) showed a passion for video and film cameras. I would video my family at Christmas, capturing them during unexpected, but delightful moments. Down the road I then worked at different theatres in Roanoke as a projectionist which helped me land work on three feature films as apprentice editor: "Major Payne," "The Shadow Conspiracy" and "That Darn Cat." After these movies I shot some small weddings: a couple as favors for friends and one as a gift for my sister. Then one day my wife suggested, "Why don't your turn this into a career?" I thought that was a great idea and so Star City Creations was born!

Being small allows us to give each and every wedding the attention it deserves and deliver as a cherished memory for years to come.

We can capture Getting Ready pre-ceremony footage, First Look, Highlight Reels, How We Met: Love Story, Taped-Only Weddings and fully edited weddings and receptions. With multiple, HD cameras and personal digital audio recorders we give your special day the attention and quality it deserves. Have another kind of special event? We can also capture birthday parties, graduations, anniversaries, family reunions, recitals, vowel renewals, celebration of life and others. We also transfer video tapes to DVD. Formats we can do include: VHS, VHS-C, Mini-DV, Hi-8, Digital 8, and regular 8 tape. Additionally, we can transfer silent Super 8 and Regular 8mm film.
