Chef. Heard. A few of the culinary world colloquialisms that I know from various forms of media.

Chef Dan of Table 50. What a freaking treat it was to capture his homage to Anthony Bourdain - to get a bit of insight of how he sees cooking and how it’s own way of expressing love and affection through his culinary works of art, as they are beautiful as they are absolutely delectable.

There were way too many great photos to choose from - I may even post more. But these won out.

Artist Series: One of my favorite artists in the Roanoke Valley, - you’ve probably seen a lot of her work around town, a personal highlight being the building and it’s beautiful amalgamation of colors and patterns that just make sense.

This was one of my favorite shoots I’ve had the honor to photograph and it was just so much fun. One of my favorite moments was asking Maggie to demonstrate her artist pose, her moment of zen and flow state where she’s wrapped up in creating art — and to capture it was just absolutely delightful. Poetry in motion.

One of my favorite shoots I've taken in the past year -- of Baby E, Torey and Veronica.. and of course, Darby.

I was honored to be able to capture such an intimate moment of their lives, celebrating their newborn's first of many Christmas's -- and attempting my very best to encapsulate the love and the joy and the beauty of this very special moment. One of my favorite photos involves Torey looking at Veronica with Baby E -- and all you can see and just feel, is that heartwarming kind of love that people write stories, poetry and music about.

Truly happy and honored to have been able to capture and share these moments of happiness with you all.
