Remember that saying about putting on your own oxygen mask first? Well the same thing is true for your smile! Moms, make sure you're smiling first! I've got the kids! I'll bring the jokes and make them laugh, you just make sure you look happy to be there.

When you book your family photos, you def have a picture in mind of how it's going to go. Now remember that kids will not stop being kids just because my camera is out. And that's okay! I love to capture the crazy! I have clients who come back year after year because they know I can be the calm in the chaos that is family pics. Big sis advice from an Utah family photographer: everybody tries on their picture outfit BEFORE picture day. Make sure everything fits well, tags aren't driving you crazy, etc. It's worth the 10 minutes it takes to do!
