2025 was a year I intentionally slowed down.
I gave myself permission to enjoy being newly married, to be present with my personal family, and to celebrate this chapter without rushing it. 🤍

Between working on my master’s, stepping further into my life as a teacher, and prioritizing my physical health after my shoulder tear, this year became about caring for myself in ways I had been putting off. Getting back to movement, strength, and feeling capable again meant more than I can explain.

I also had the incredible opportunity to travel abroad and photograph tournaments—exploring Japan and working in four different countries reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place: the people, the places, and the quiet moments in between.

I loved the downtime. I loved the exploration.
Most of all, I loved getting to just be me in 2025. Love everyone I got to spend time with this year, can’t wait to see everyone in the new year. ✨

✨ 31 on the 31st ✨
My golden birthday feels more meaningful than turning 30 ever did. Last year tested me — from a torn labrum and stolen gear in New Orleans, to the stress of planning a wedding and starting my master’s program. It was a year full of questioning, struggle, and learning.

But 31 feels different. This year I got married, traveled to Japan and New York (with more adventures on the way), and started truly taking care of myself — in teaching, in creating, and in life. For the first time in a long time, life feels good.

I’ve been creating since I was little — drawing, painting, photographing, just making. And this year feels like I’m finally stepping into the version of myself I was always meant to be. 🌟

Here’s to growing, creating, and loving the journey. Thank you to everyone that sent me a happy birthday 🫶🏼
