In 2022 I was negotiating with a show that I had done several times before. We failed to come to an agreement regarding one of the clauses in my contract - a clause I consider a deal breaker. A clause that pretty well defined whether I could make a profit there or not.
I declined the show.
Now I am finding out people were told I did not do that show due to my retiring. I retired several months later.

Just talked to a lady who got one of the other Lockes - wanted to upgrade to hi-res files and got told $500 per image! (I don't charge nearly that much.....hmmm). Made her very happy with my pricing.

First sets of proofs are now online - lockephoto.com > Proofs > Goldmine Oct 2020. The 20% discount has been applied to print orders - that will end Nov 21, 2020 for this show.
Will get more horses posted as quickly as I can. If you need - or just really want - to see proofs soonest, get me your horse number and I will do my best.

Looks like we may be able to get out and do some ranch sessions soon! Give me a call if you are interested - fees are reasonable and better if you have several horses to photograph at the same location and time.

Since a lot of us are now "sheltering in place" seems like a good time to put together an idea. Locke Photography has been in business since 1982 - that means a lot of you have proofs sitting in albums and drawers you never got around to ordering, or are just now finding - with all that spare time you now have.
When I can access the lab with the good negative scanner will be taking in a group for scanning. Usually I need to pass the additional cost of the scan to the customer(you). But - if you can get the image number off your proof(s) in time for me to make one trip - will waive the scanning fee.
And if you can't find the more recent images on my web please contact me and I will get the show uploaded.

The first proofs from the Goldmine Go For the Gold should be up later today. These will include horses with picks folders, orders and requests. Let me know if you need to see the proofs for your horses sooner - will try to help.
