It's the first Monday of 2026 and I am officially done editing galleries from 2025, and so excited for the upcoming sessions already booked for this new year! If you skipped booking a family session during the holiday season, I don't blame you. It's such a busy time. To be honest though booking in the new year is even better, especially now, because the hills are already getting green and you aren't booking around my busy personal holiday schedule. But, like this beautiful family did, we started at their home and then moved to one of my go-to spots. Don't shy away from in home sessions. They are some of my client's favorite!

Milestone sessions are always a mix of happiness and nostalgia. Witnessing the remarkable growth of children throughout the year and celebrating each new birthday brings both joy and a touch of longing. Every session marks another candle on the cake, another chapter in their story. Capturing these early years feels much like observing a caterpillar transform into a butterfly. The amount of change and growth that occurs is truly extraordinary. Every session reveals new facets of their personalities and development, making each photograph a testament to their journey.

Can you believe we are just 8 days away from Christmas! And every holiday season I say I will be better about posting, but then I get busy and it just does not happen as planned. This location is one of my favorites especially during the fall and this family did not disappoint.
