I absolutely love the way life comes full circle — even when it gently reminds me just how many years have flown by. I first stepped behind the camera for this sharp-dressed young man when he was just two years old. Now here he stands: a high school senior, preparing to graduate & answer the call to serve in the Army. How did we get here so fast?

Watching him grow has been such a gift. He’s become an incredible young man — polite, respectful, kind, smart, caring, responsible, hardworking, deeply devoted to his family, & carrying a wise head on those broad shoulders.
Now, his driving skills...well, those still make me a bit nervous, but he'll get there!!! :o) Let’s just say they’re still a work in progress. Being in the car with him behind the wheel & his mama in the passenger seat is about the only thing I’ve ever seen that can rattle that woman!

This young man is going to move mountains. Just you wait & see.

I don't usually post personal work, but this is a shoot I completely fell in love with! I was inspired by the kiddos' friendship, & my love for the movie the Sandlot. The shoot did exactly what I had hoped it would, it fed my soul giving me a new spark in my creativity. Plus, how cute are they?!?!?!

This is precisely the reason I adore photographing families in their homes. Your home does not have to be the biggest, cleanest, fanciest home, it just has to be where you find yourself drawn to each day you wake up.

Talk about a reality check!!! I took this gorgeous young lady's baby pictures, and I babysat her after she graced this world with her presence! She is now a senior in high school, smarter than you or I can imagine, & one bad a$$ soccer player!

And if that doesn't make me feel old enough, I went to school with her daddy since we were in kindergarten all the way through graduating high school!
