Every year, I try to go and photograph at least one of my college’s c**t preview days. The first year I went, I was a sophomore. I didn’t know anything about action photography, but figured that would be a good event to practice with. Well everyone loved the pictures, so the next year I went to shoot it again. That next year was a different struggle. It was gloomy and dark, not my favorite weather for photos. But we got through it. And then we get to this year. I shot the event yesterday and had over 200 + photos edited and in a gallery by late last night. A stark difference from the, I think, days it took me to edit that first year. Another huge difference I noticed? I took less photos overall, but had more usable photos. In these past few years, I’ve really gotten the hang of knowing when in the gait we want to capture and what angles I should be aiming for. None of my gear has changed throughout these three years, but it’s clear that my understanding and utilization of my camera has improved a lot! I’ve had a ton of fun being able to practice my photography every year at the previews and love seeing my photos being shared around everywhere!
The gallery will only be up for a week!
