Art was always my little “happy place,” regardless of the medium. Photographs, specifically, were always something I gravitated toward. The idea of capturing raw emotion and having that split second in time saved forever, has always left a feeling of security in my heart. I slowly began to realize how important photos were to me when I would go through boxes of photos from my childhood or beg my f
riends to take “just one more” because I knew they would appreciate those memories in the future. I noticed how bad I caught the camera-bug after I photographed my parents for their 22nd wedding anniversary. Capturing the essence of their love for one another really sparked my fascination to pursue photography.I am inspired by the truest raw emotion that I get to experience first hand when photographing weddings and engagement sessions. I thrive off of the genuine love between a bride and groom, or mommies and daddies loving on their little humans. From the first year of your darling children to the kindred moments between hubby and wife, I am here to document your wonderful lives… because this is a wonderful life we are so blessed to be apart of. The most exciting part of my job is delivering the images my clients and having them reciprocate my love for their photos. Seeing my photos in print, and hearing feedback that my work has allowed my clients to relive the day from beginning to end, is all I could ever hope to provide with my craft. I was always told that if you found a job you liked, it would be as if you would never work a day in your life.
