This image that I took last week at Audrey and Jeff's engagement session in Central Park got over 1000 likes in the photo community LOOKSLIKEFILM, and today is in good company on their site's Daily Update.

I love this double exposure. This little honor (which I feel humbled and confused by) was cool. To have so many people in a notoriously selective community give me praise for my work is atypical. I work for my clients and I make work for myself. This time felt nice to be noticed! Check it out if you like :)

I just realized I've been photographing weddings full time for five years! This does not mean those first few years were prosperous, or came without their own set of challenges. Because, to be honest they did, and sometimes still do. That said, I wouldn't change what I have chosen to do over the years to get me here. I have so many wonderful families and clients that I have gotten to meet, and shape their memories for some of the biggest days of their lives. 2017 is looking good, and 2018 is already looking like its on track to be even more amazing! I am so grateful for the support and friends I've made, making this life. I look forward to all of the people I'm yet to meet, and weddings I have yet to photograph and laugh with those who make my heart full.

This is an image from Shana and Eric's wedding at The Chapel At Sandy Hook. Nj from 2013. Its going to take a lot for this image to stop being one of my favs. I've grown so much personally and professionally since then, but some photos are your babies and you'll never leave those ones behind.
