It's time for something NEW!
I have put so much time and effort into building this business and it has been so worth it. But time and life has brought me to the end of my solo photography journey! A lot of you know I didn't book any weddings this year. I was planning on just quitting photography altogether to better focus on my mental health and family life. I was wanting to pick up a second shooting job here and there and just call it a day. I knew I was being drawn to another season in my life but wasn't quite sure what it looked like. God started weaving this story together better than I could have planned it like he always does. Honestly, his plans are the best when we let go and let him.
I met Olivia when I asked her to take family photos for us. We started to become friends. I'm honestly so proud of the fact that we were each other's hype woman. Competition wasn't a word in our vocabulary. We truly wanted each other to succeed and that is what a photography community should look like. After second shooting together for a couple weddings we realized we worked really well together. I slowly realized that i'm a great photographer but not such a great business woman (this self-employed boss babe thing is ROUGH) while Olivia on the other hand is phenomenal at being the best boss babe ever and instead of trying to shoot for one another and still run separate businesses we decided to work together all the time.

What does this mean?
I'm continuing to take pictures, but only for Olivia. My role is a second photographer, background position. I get to create and capture beautiful memories for her while she runs her business, editing and doing her wizardry she somehow does! You can't book me through her as I'm truly just an assistant for her, doing whatever she needs for her and her client base. This page will be closed in the near future and i'll be touching base with my clients for final downloads of pictures as my gallery site will be shutting down as well! I'm so very thankful to God and his orchestrating exactly what my heart needed! Now onto amazing times!
