Your kid’s wild hair is not a wardrobe malfunction. It’s a personality trait. The pouty lip grouch face your baby gives me might be your favorite shot of the gallery. Your toddler will always want to squirm away from you and run. Embrace it.

Controlled chaos is kind of my specialty. I’m not generally spending a lot of time in a session to line your kids up for a stiff, everyone-smile-on-three moment, because those posed lineup shots are never the best frames from a session anyway.

I’m a lot more likely to tell the kids to run. Jump. Chase each other. Squeeze in with mom and dad for a snuggle. Laugh at something ridiculous I just said.

So the closed eyes, the toddler sprinting the other direction, the dog who somehow ends up front and center in every shot. None of that is a problem. That’s usually the shot.

Today’s the day! Mini sessions release tonight at 8 over email.

The Christmas tree farm sessions absolutely sell out the quickest every year. This is in large part due to the fact that I am limited on the dates I can offer. This Christmas tree farm is private property and the owners are more than kind to let me use it for a couple of days per year.

I’ll be offering Christmas tree farm and fall mini session dates along with a wide variety of options in my Ridgefield, CT studio. I cannot wait to work with you all this season!

Sidenote: if any of you know of other local Christmas tree farms, that would be willing to let me use their space, I could add more dates! DM me!

Fifteen minutes is, by and large, plenty of time for genuine laughter, a few different looks, and a gallery you’ll actually want to print. This session here ⬆️ was a mini from last year in one of the locations I’m offering again for October 2026.

“How in the hell am I supposed to pick just 25?!?!?!?!?!”

That’s the text I got from this mama going through her gallery, and honestly, same. This cake smash session was that cute. The frosting hands. The pure joy on her face. The massive mess she got to create.

First birthdays hit different. One year of this tiny human and you get one shot at the chaos and the cuteness before it’s gone.

Heads up if you’ve got a first birthday coming this fall, my calendar is filling up quickly. Minis take over a big chunk of my fall schedule, so full sessions like cake smashes book out fast this time of year.

If your baby’s first birthday is on the horizon, let’s get it locked in.

Fall family photos, without the fall apart. ⬇️

No matching outfits from head to toe. No bribing anyone with candy to get one decent smile. No pretending your toddler wasn’t mid-meltdown 90 seconds before the “good” photo. That’s not what I do.

I bring the prompts, the pacing, and the patience to redirect when someone wanders off. You bring your family. That’s the whole job.
