My newborn photography calendar is filling more quickly than usual, and I want to make sure anyone who’s been thinking about it has the chance to reach out before it’s too late.

Here’s where things currently stand:
March — 2 openings
April — 2 openings
May — 3 openings

I’ve had quite a few inquiries come in recently and several calls scheduled with expecting families this week. Once these spots are filled, I likely won’t be able to add more sessions for those months.

(After all, it’s just me around here!)

Parents worry about their baby cooperating during newborn sessions. What if they cry? What if they won’t settle in certain poses?

Here’s what I’ve learned after hundreds of sessions: every baby is different. Some love being on their tummy. Some only settle when swaddled. Some need more breaks, more patience, different positions.

I know how to pivot to what your baby likes. I know when to adjust, when to pause, when to try something new. And no matter what — we always end up with a gallery full of beautiful images.

Valentine’s Day Mini Sessions release tomorrow over email at 10am! 🎉🩷✨🪩

That’s right, it’s a first around here. Pink, glittery, and SO MUCH SPARKLY FUN.

There are two session dates, Wednesday, January 21st and Sunday, January 25th, and they’ll both take place in my Ridgefield, CT studio. That schedule will allow for plenty of time to get gifts and cards printed by Valentine’s Day.

I’ll be on stories today answering a bunch of FAQs about minis in general and these minis in particular. Join me there and ask away!
