That question led me to separate my brand photography from my website design business.

Some of my favorite moments in Copenhagen 🇩🇰

Funny enough, this impromptu food truck photoshoot with Susan became a huge inspiration for my website design contest entry with .

I believe Beyond Jade is more than a brand. It is a lifestyle. I truly want to connect with people who understand what it feels like to live between cultures while still holding onto the experience that shape who we are.

This project reminded me that the best design often feels the most human. And this is where Beyond Jade hopes to grow in the future.

I took a deep dive into curating imagery from my travels and crafting the website copy, using my own photos from Cancun, Hawaii, Havana, Todos Santos, Copenhagen, Cabo, Cartagena, and of course, my hometown in Taiwan. 🇹🇼

Grateful for this learning experience and for the opportunity to dream as a “Travel Experience Designer”!

I thought I was building a new website, but somewhere along the way it started feeling like so much more.

As I was putting everything together, I kept coming back to one thing:

I’m not here to decorate websites.
I’m here to help people decide what matters.

What deserves to be seen.

I’m going to miss this—
capturing weddings where florals did the talking,on film.

For the longest time, my site reflected everything I could do—wedding photography, branding photography, web design, portfolio curation and blogging.

But recently I made a quiet, powerful shift-I removed my wedding photography galleries.

It was really scary—it feels like I’m erasing 7 years of work that had become part of my identity.

But the moment I clicked publish, something shifted. I felt lighter.

I wanted my site to reflect where I’m going,
not just where I’ve been.

It was more than just a site update-
it was permission to focus fully on what lights me up at this stage: Designing and curating websites for wedding vendors who are looking for direction, not decoration.  

It’s been quiet over here because I’ve been deep behind the scenes— designing website templates specifically for wedding vendors. 

The kind of online experience I wished existed when I was deep in that world.
