I hope they’ll try to recreate them in a couple of decades. I hope their grandchildren will hold them close while learning stories about their family.

Last year taught me a lot about how I work, how I rest, and what happens when I don’t make space for either.
So I’m leaving a few habits behind: perfectionism, isolating when things feel heavy, waiting for “just right,” and carrying the whole process by myself.

It hits different when it’s your brother’s love story unfolding right in front of your lens 🥹

Their courthouse vows this summer were intimate, emotional, and everything love should be. I wasn’t in many photos and honestly, that felt right. My joy came from capturing theirs.

But don’t worry yall, The next stop takes us to Lagos, Nigeria this December, and this time, I’m setting the camera down to be fully present… & maybe get a few photos on the other side of the lens. 🥹🇳🇬
