24 years of the most perfect sister on the planet🔮

If you know me or have had a session with me, you know my gorgeous sister, Grace 🥰. When we were kids we used to argue about everything, these days I can’t seem to find one thing to argue about. Grace is the most loving, generous, and supportive people I’ve ever met. Her energy is so tenacious and her wisdom is beyond words. I truly wouldn’t be the person I am or where I am today without her (she was my first model, after all🥹)
My sister is my inspiration and I love her more than anything. Happy birthday, Grace🖤

Romeo + Juliet (minus the tragedy) 🥀

We spent the afternoon gallivanting around the park embodying Shakespeare for this set!! I’ve been dreaming of a session inspired by Romeo and Juliet, and A+K really brought that romance to life with me! They’re the best 🥹

crimson & clover🥀
C + M’s love captured on digital, super 8, 35mm film, and classic Polaroids!
Their backyard wedding was on a chilly fall evening with an overcast sky, and the energy was still ELECTRIC!! We worried about weather a bit, but honestly the universe delivered with this sunset at their reception😍
While we were taking the newlywed portraits, Casey and Micajah were saying how nervous they were for their first dance in front of people!! I made sure to reassure them, and they proceeded to have the DREAMIEST first dance under the sunset 🥹
Your wedding day is for YOU and I know it’s hard to not be nervous or worry about weather!! Honestly, it truly shows in your memories and photos when you’re present and enjoying your day regardless of the circumstances🥰 plus who knows, you may get a cool surprise, like their sunset💗

Cinematic engagement magic with Paris & Micah✨ captured on digital, 35mm film, and my 2000s camcorder 📸 which is your favorite? (Double exposure was shot on 35mm film)
We milked every second of golden hour for these dreamy photos 🥹 These lovebirds brought all the love and energy to our session, it was absolutely electric!!!
I couldn’t stop telling them how much they looked like main characters in a romance movie lol. I can’t get over how whimsical they are🙈
They even brought their daughter to watch their parents photoshoot! It was so amazing seeing them so in love & also the best parents to their lil angel 🫶🏼

thrown back in time for this medieval love story ⚔️✨
Amber & Brandon had the most enchanting engagement session💍 We spent the morning gallivanting through the woods, playing with swords, & making magic together 🔮
These two wanted an ethereal renaissance vibe for their engagement photos that really encapsulated their whimsy and romance. I think we nailed it!! It was seriously so perfect having a creative theme for these engagement photos 🖤
On the way back to the car, we chatted about all of our favorite books, movies, & series! It was truly a fairytale photo session 🫶🏼 I even ran into them at the RVA renaissance faire and they told me where to find a sword! It gives that early 2000s home movie feel🫶🏼
I got a digital camcorder so I could create the feeling my childhood home movies had for my clients and everyday life! I am OBSESSED with it😩
And NO I don’t charge for camcorder footage unless you want the whole session shot on it 😏 I just love using it! Bringing it to sessions and weddings adds such a nostalgic touch for us 90’s and 00’s babies 🫶🏼
