Last week I got to photograph and let me tell you, the cans look epic but the beer is even better. Golden wheat perfection with a refreshing hint of citrus. Inspired by Mongolian roots!

April 2024 — I had the chance to photograph the historic first tunnel breakthrough for the Hampton Roads Bridge–Tunnel Expansion Project.

Ironically, I spent the whole drive there stuck in gridlock because the existing tunnel had just been shut down after a truck fire.

The massive tunnel boring machine “Mary,” built by , carved the new tunnels beneath the harbor. She has now been fully dismantled on the South Island and is being shipped home as the $4 billion project enters its last year of major construction, with both tunnels moving into the outfitting phase. It’s projected to open in spring 2027, and I can’t wait to finally drive through the expanded tunnels and feel the difference!

Woke up early, camera in hand, and let the Outer Banks do its thing. Paddle boarders at sunrise, fishermen already casting, and the beach still quiet before the day really started.

There’s a calm out here that makes you slow down. Just tried to capture a piece of that.

I was finally able to catch the action at the Oceana Naval Air Show in Virginia Beach this past September. Easily one of the wildest things I’ve photographed—got to witness the Blue Angels and F-22 Raptors ripping through the sky. Power, precision, and pure spectacle.

July 11th, 2024—The Naadam horse races in Hui Doloon Hudag, Töv—one of Mongolia’s oldest and most intense traditions. What makes it so unique? The jockeys are kids, often just 5 to 13 years old, riding ba****ck at full speed across the steppe. No fear, just instinct.

The races stretch up to 30 km (18 miles), depending on the horse’s age group. The horses—Mongolian breed—are small, fast, and bred for endurance. Their bloodlines trace back to the days of Genghis Khan.

It’s more than a sport. It’s heritage in motion.
