Thanks Mr.G’s Professional Cleaning Services & for supporting trailblazers of young ladies representing for their softball team. I had fun designing the graphics and layout for this team banner. 💯
Last year, the team was revived after being non-existent since the 1980’s! Nearly 4 decades! Last year, the team didn’t just revive the program, they went to the championship game.
They start playoffs soon, and excitement is upon them for year 2!
If you’d like to make a donation to support the team, and the coaching staff - DM me for donation link.

Richmond will always be the home of my roots. New opportunities for me running the streets differently than years past.
Photography helps me communicate those stories of rebirth many of us experience. Like the rebirth of downtown Richmond. Something vibrant is brewing. Don’t sleep on the hoods, they’re always active.

Thankful for our community! Snapshots of recent Richmond Bridge Ride, led by Maria & made possible by Alex, Justice , several more staff members not pictured, our interns, our volunteers, & the folks who came out!
As Rich City Rides hopes to hire a Community Rides Manager (maybe that’s you!), social rides are on hold for now. The past several months - Maria, Alex, Justice, JoJo, Tyler, Noel, Asia, Eric, Hugo plus several volunteers have been making the rides possible.
Thank you all for making cycling through Rich City, a great experience. 💯🚲

Cinco de Mayo Festival 2023:
After several years of no festival due to the pandemic, the event has returned like it never skipped a beat.
Amazing to see community come out and enjoy the culturally rich spaces, particularly along 23rd between Richmond and San Pablo.

Wow!

Just a few weeks ago, we announced that APEN would be launching a third organizing project in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County.

Since then, you raised $35,000 to support our launch in Los Angeles -- and we still have checks arriving in the mail that we haven't counted yet.

Words cannot describe how much it means to all of us – APEN members, staff, board, and our broader APEN family – to have your support at this critical moment.

In 2023, we’re gearing up to launch in earnest in Los Angeles. We’re taking some time to turn our focus inward and build the infrastructure and systems we need to win big fights in 2024. We’re going to try out some new experiments: reaching new groups of people in ways we haven’t before.

More on all that soon. For now, thank you. We’re entering the new year refreshed and ready – and we hope you are too.

López For Albany 🗳:
My campaign manager was happy to celebrate 1 month in this universe by visiting the pumpkin patch at West Brae Nursey ! Sales support Cornell Elementary in Albany. It was nice to be out with our little family supporting a worker cooperative (which I’m a major fan of!) that invests in our youth.
I think we came home with the best pumpkin!’🎃😎
Remember to fill out your ballots and vote! We look forward to supporting our community and schools!
