Most people probably wouldn’t think twice about this photo.

But this moment stuck with me.

This was the only wedding I’ve ever photographed where the photographer, planner, and DJ were all Filipino

We all came from different places, had different roles that day, and somehow ended up together helping create an unforgettable experience for another couple.

Representation doesn’t always have to be loud to matter.

It’s the moment your favorite person becomes family.

The nervous smiles across the aisle.
Your parents watching it all happen in real time.
The way your hands instinctively reach for each other after the vows.

Those are the moments that matter.

The real ones.
The emotional ones.
The ones you’ll feel every time you look back at your photos years from now.

That’s the kind of storytelling I care about documenting most.
