Ellie & Darren

After 1.5 years of long distance and 3 continents
later; South Africa, Croatia, and Germany, these two
are finally tying the knot in June. I knew I would love
working with this couple after our communication
from a different time zone over a +49 number and a
zoom call from Berlin. Their story resonated with me as did their adventurous spirit. It was an honor to capture them in a session over their short visit home for the holidays.

Not many couples go for the "let's roll around on a
blanket in the dirt" idea, but after their long journey
and everything they've been through together, I can't help but feel these photos reflect their simple
comfort and grounding love for one another after so much time apart and together.
