Cheateau Lill is one of our favorite gems in the Seattle area, and you'll hear a lot of people say why they love it so much, but as a photographer, I thought it would be helpful to hear why this venue is so ahead of the game.
As a wedding photographer, Chateau Lill is one of those rare venues that truly checks every box for both the couple and the creative team. It feels so tucked away and private, yet it’s incredibly accessible! Just a quick turn off the road, and suddenly you’re in this quiet, romantic world that feels totally removed from the everyday.
The gardens are beautifully maintained, which gives images that effortless, natural charm I love. There’s such a variety of backdrops: the vineyard rows, the tree-lined ceremony space, the classic European architecture, and even little tucked-away corners perfect for intimate portraits. From a logistical perspective, it's a dream.
The light across the property is soft and flattering at every turn, which makes storytelling through photos feel easy and authentic. And the team members are truly some of the kindest, most thoughtful people I’ve worked with, and just lovely. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and truly thoughtful in how they care for both the couple and the vendor team.
They care deeply about the experience for everyone involved, which makes all the difference.
Chateau Lill is one of my favorite venues in Washington, hands down!!
