May 1st is National College Decision Day, a deadline the Class of 2021 has been preparing for since their junior year 🎉😍✨ i wishhhh my senior pics were this fire and that there was a day dedicated to announcing my college choice when i was in high school 😩😩😩 anyway, cheers to these not so average senior pics and to this beautiful spirit i got to photograph, she’s going to Howard y’all!

also, the last pic is my fav from this session because it truly takes a village and this momma was the best hype (wo)man / assistant / creative director a girl could ask for💕

ATTENTION FELLAS: IF YOU NEED HELP WITH A GAME PLAN TO PROPOSE, I TOLD MY LAST CLIENT HE NEEDS TO CREATE A MASTERCLASS 🙌🏾

everything about this session was so beautiful and intentional:

🖤 the story about how he asked her parents for her hand

🚁 the helicopter ride before the proposal 🤯

🎶 the playlist we collaborated on that was filled with their favorite love songs

💐🍾the long stem roses (she loves flowers and he's been getting them for her weekly since they've been dating) and their favorite champagne

💞 it was intimate — fitting her personality

💍 and then there were the ringS ( ) — literal perfection!

remembering small details shows her that you’ve studied her + you see her + you hear her.

love wins🥳🤎

also, i’m adding master secret keeper to my resume because she was so surprised and pleased – while I was taking pictures, she said "i''m so happy he chose you to capture this moment" 📝
