Well, today is the day I shot my 100,000th photo on my Nikon Z5. At first I was bummed that I wasn't able to catch it and make it a super cool photo to memorialize the moment. The I realized just how cool and powerful this photo is. I didn't do any edits to this. Everything you see is straight off the camera. I have worked my ass off to get to this level of shooting. It looks simple, but there is about 15 mins of prep that went into dressing the mannequin so that it looked as perfect as it could. Then there is the light position and the reflector to help fill in the shadows. There is all the experience that goes into balancing the ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. This photo is one of those that I really won't have to do much at all to it because I was so locked into my work flow today. My 100,000th photo was taken at a job that has changed my life! My 100,000th photo was taken doing fashion product photography. I had just over a year's work of experience when I started here and look at what I can do now! There is so much technical skill and experience that went into making this photo happen. I am thrilled that this photo was number 100,000.
I had two cameras before my Z5. My first was a Nikon D3400 and my second was a Nikon D7500. I shot on both of those for less than a year. I thought photography was going to be one of my ADHD come and go hyper fixations where I spend too much money on it and then sell it all later. But here I am. And now I have the new Nikon Z5 II on the way in just a few weeks! I can't wait to see all the photos that I will take with that camera! I wonder what my 100,000th photo will look like on there?
