Some wedding days feel a little extra special, and Lara & Brandon’s was definitely one of them!

Lara & Brandon have known each other since high school, but their story really started later on with dating, traveling and building a life together. And they are SO much fun together. They laugh easily, they’re completely comfortable with each other, and their whole wedding day felt exactly like that.

They got married at Antebellum of New Kent surrounded by about 140 of their favorite people, with the prettiest warm champagne and copper tones throughout the day. One of my favorite moments from the ceremony was watching their parents pray over their rings before they exchanged them.

And then the reception… these two know how to PARTY!!! DJ MFN Rah had that dance floor going all night and it was the best way to end such a sweet day.

Lara & Brandon’s reception at Antebellum of New Kent (Antebellum Of New Kent) was one of those spaces where every little detail just worked together so beautifully.

Hailey Prestes brought everything together so seamlessly, and Annette Tomas filled the bright room with the prettiest peach and white florals, greenery and little touches of gold throughout the tables.

I loved how delicate and elegant everything felt. Such a pretty setting to celebrate these two!!!

I’m a little late posting Isabel’s family sessions… but have I told you how much I LOVE photographing them?! 🥹

Starting with this mom + daughter session that was so sweet I could cry.

Miranda was officially promoted to BIG SISTER and I seriously cannot handle how incredible this little girl is. Sweet, funny, full of personality… and apparently a great model too?! 👸🤍

After this, we also photographed all the AMAZING goodies at Sicilian Bakery | Artisanal breads, and then came Isabel + Carlos’ maternity session at the Hamptons which was just… INCREDIBLE. You’re going to love that one.

And now baby girl is already here!! 🥹 I’m so, so happy for this family. May God continue to bless them in this beautiful new season. 🤍

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE photographing this family? Because I really, really do. I have photographed Isabel and her family through so many different seasons, and somehow every session with them becomes another one I cannot wait to share.

Rebecca + Raphael are not new faces around here. 🥹

I photographed their wedding, and now I got to photograph them waiting for their first baby girl.

And truly… how sweet is that?

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to photograph the same people through different seasons of life. From bride + groom, to husband + wife, and now… mom + dad. 🤍

Rebecca even brought her wedding dress and bouquet back for a few photos, and I think that made this full-circle moment even sweeter.

These two are some of the funniest, sweetest people to be around, and their session felt exactly like them: lots of laughs, lots of love, and so much excitement for the little girl they’re about to meet.

I cannot wait to photograph this next chapter. 🥹🤍

Gabi’s senior portrait session in Richmond was such a sweet one for me to photograph. 🤍

I photographed her Sweet 16 a few years ago, and now here she is... graduating and getting ready to start a new chapter at VCU! I also love her mom, Ana, so much, which made photographing this milestone even more special.

We started at Maymont with beautiful garden portraits and ended at the Virginia Capitol with her cap and gown, medals, and VCU pennant.
