Having experienced over 300 newborn sessions, we designed and built our Short Pump, Virginia studio specifically with baby safety and parent comfort in mind. We offer a relaxing atmosphere and complete studio experience including styling and props for eac

h session. Our prop closet is the biggest in town, so you'll be sure to get a great selection of things to style your session to perfection. When we're not in the studio, we select the most beautiful and versatile locations for our outdoor sessions based on the needs and desires of our clients. Session fees do not include any prints, products or digital images. We offer collections as well as a la carte pricing. Collections start at $450. Big news I’ve been excited to share 🤍

Starting July 1st, I’ll be transitioning into a full-time role as Lead Photographer at The Steward School. I’ve had the joy of working there part-time for the past 5 years, and stepping into this role full-time is such an honor.

With this new chapter, I want to reassure you that 11 Sixteen Photography is not going anywhere—it’s simply evolving.

Moving forward, I’ll be focusing my portrait sessions on weekends, which actually creates a really wonderful change for many families. No more rushing after work or school… just relaxed sessions when everyone can be together.

In addition to newborns and other studio sessions, I’ll also continue offering:
• Outdoor family sessions in September + October (booking already open!)
• Holiday sessions in November + December (booking opens August 1st!)

Over the past 14 years, it has been the greatest privilege to photograph your families, milestones, and memories. I’m incredibly grateful for your trust and continued support—it truly means everything to me.

Parents often imagine everything has to go perfectly asleep and perfectly posed, but in reality, the best sessions are unhurried, responsive, and built around feeding, soothing, and pauses as needed. When families understand that, a lot of anxiety disappears—and they can actually enjoy the experience instead of worrying about it.

When scheduling in advance, simply choose a session date about 10 days after your due date. Once your little one makes their debut, we’ll easily adjust your session date as needed 💛
