So, since it’s been a good 5-ish months (😅), I figure a little life update is in order:
1. I am now in my second year of teaching and having such a fun time with my orchestra students! It’s so special to come back to so many of the same students I taught last year 🥰
2. All of my parents have moved back to the east coast! Which seems random but that means fewer travel fees for Lynchburg or DC! 🥳
3. I am also dealing with some health issues lately, so I am easing back into photography with a maternity session for .a.wilkerson & a portrait session with in the coming months!

Can’t wait to continue sharing photos from the last few months!

I had to take a step back from photography this spring and summer for several reasons (including mental health & prioritizing my full time job as a teacher) but I am back and ready to be behind the camera again!

I will no longer be providing photography to the Harrisonburg area, but I AM still working in Richmond, Lynchburg, and Charlottesville, so if you are graduating from Liberty, University of Lynchburg, Sweet Briar, UVA, VCU, or U of R this fall, reach out now! 🥰

Well, it’s been… *checks feed* nine months since I’ve showed my face on here… whoooooops! 😅🤣 I guess I’ve been a little busy teaching and shooting weddings! Let me re-introduce myself!
I’m a 26-year old newlywed who LOVES Dawson’s Creek and Mamma Mia 2 (sorry but I strongly believe the second is better than the first 😬)
I have a cat and a dog that I’m 1000000% obsessed with 💕
I’m a trained violinist of 20 years and a high school orchestra director here in Midlothian ()
I love design and all things visual (which explains why of all the instruments I could have picked, I chose strings)
