A few more portraits. I love tightly shot portraits more than anything. I have always been enamored by the face. I love looking at someone’s bone structure in their face and imagining how I would photograph and light it to compliment it the best.

I feel like when a portrait is shot like this it gives the viewer an intimate look into that persons mind. I always look at my portraits like this and wonder, what was in their head when my shutter clicked. Sometimes you can see pain in their eyes, sometimes you can see their strength, the eyes tell so much of a story for me. @ Richmond, Virginia

I spent the day with my cousin and we talked business, photography and life while we edited client photos together. We taught each other some tricks in photoshop and just had an all around great time together.

I finished up all of my clients edits and what I like to do when I’m not shooting and editing client work is to go through old shoots and practice and perfect techniques.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After speaking with her about the business aspects of photography because she’s a boss ass businesswoman, I’m considering some changes with my photography career goals as well as a pricing increase and the services and products I offer to my clients. They’ll be more information on that at a later date as I work out the details of everything.

So I grabbed .mariie and used her palette to create this look. I was proud so I had to use her ringlight to get a photograph.

So what I didn’t tell you guys is that when and I had our shoot, word got to that he was bringing the ultimate mittens and Bernie wasn’t about to let him steal the spotlight. So they had a mitten off!
