Hi Friends + Happy Monday! My name is Emily and I am the owner and photographer at Magnolia and Oak Photography! I am an HBB approved photographer here in the area! I am excited to announce that I am running an end of summer sale! All sessions booked between now and August 31st are 40% off! The session must take place in the 2024 calendar year to be eligible for the discount. I offer all kinds of sessions from Family + Couples —> Maternity. 📦WE’RE MOVING📦

I’ve been keeping a little bit of a secret! At the end of November Magnolia and Oak Photography (and family) are moving to GERMANY!

What does that mean?! Well, I have a few fall dates available and then I am CLOSING MY BOOKS! I’ll list the rest of my availability below, if you’re interested in booking one of those dates shoot me a message or use the “contact me”form on my website.

I think that Hux and Katherine had one of the most beautiful wedding ceremonies I’ve been too. Her grandfather officiated and they had a friend play a worship song DURING the ceremony, not a dry eye in the house y’all! I love when couples add unique touches to their day.

I’M BACK! I’m going to work on posting things a little more consistently. I haven’t been working as much this summer, its just been a harder season of life and I needed to be home for my babies. But, reinforcements are here, and school started, so the light at the end of the tunnel has ARRIVED!

Now, let’s talk about this beautiful couple! The simple and elegant decor of this wedding made it one of my absolute favorite weddings! That and the reception, they sure know how to throw a party! At the end of the night they shared a “last dance” just the two of them, and now I’m recommending this to ALL of my couples! What do you think about having a private last dance? Did you do it at your wedding?

GUYS! I’m still technically “out of office” recovering from a small surgery. But I made a brief comeback for this homecoming session, and I am so glad I did! It also helps that Rachel isn’t just a client but a sweet sweet friend who has helped get me through not one but TWO deployments in less than two years! So happy to see you too finally reunited again, now go enjoy married life!
