My beautiful friend Miranda and her husband absolutely brought this session to life, and Jessie created the dreamiest styled setup.

When I first moved to North Carolina, one of the things I missed most was the photography community I had back in Virginia. After several years here, I finally feel like I’ve found that again, and I’m so grateful for the creatives and friendships this job has brought into my life.

A random last minute idea turned into one of my favorite maternity sessions. Watching my friends become moms will always be special to me, but getting to document her first baby in a field full of orange flowers at golden hour? Yeah… I’m obsessed. ✨

Some sessions just hit different creatively. ✨🎡

Getting to photograph someone I genuinely consider a friend made this one even more special. We spent the evening running around the carnival, chasing lights, colors, movement, and all the nostalgic magic that comes with it.

My creative soul was SO happy during this session. These are the kinds of shoots that remind me how much I love creating art that feels a little different, a little playful, and full of life.

Already looking forward to next carnival season because I have way too many ideas waiting in my brain. 🎠💛
