It’s not every day you turn 90! 🥳🥳❤️
I was asked to photograph a very special celebration, and I felt so honored to be part of such a meaningful day. We started with family photos, followed by food, cake, and then lots of heartfelt speeches.

Happy Mother’s day to all the moms today that try their best every day. Things definitely change as you get older. You start to really see how much love, work, and heart goes into being a mom.

Also thinking of the moms carrying heartache today, those who’ve lost a child, those longing to be a mother, and anyone missing their own mom.

As a photographer and a parent, I’ve always believed in capturing moments with care and intention. After much thought, I’ve made the decision to no longer share photos that show the faces of babies or children on this page. This change is rooted in a deep respect for privacy and the belief that it should be up to each parent to decide how and where their child’s image is shared.

With the rise of AI and how easily faces can now be replicated, manipulated, or misused online, it honestly is a little scary. (A lot, actually.) These tools are powerful, and while they can be used creatively, they also make it harder to protect innocent images once they’re out in the world.

I realize this might mean I’ll have fewer photos to share here, and that can be a challenge in such a visual business- but protecting kids’ privacy matters more to me. With that being said, I will still be sharing beautiful detail shots (little hands, sweet moments, and thoughtful compositions, just not full face portraits), and of course, families will still receive all of their full galleries including the images with faces. They just won’t be posted publicly on my timeline.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding as I move forward with this boundary in place, with you all in mind. ❤️
