Snow Photography

Snow Photography When choosing a photographer, you need to make sure you're getting someone who knows photography. Ask what camera they use. What editing software they use.

Ask if they know the rule of thirds, if they shoot manual, auto, or some hybrid of the two. I've been taking pictures since the mid 1980's (Nearly 30 years of photography). Landscape, sports, wedding, family, special events, fireworks, lightning, you name it . . . I've probably shot it. My main camera is the Canon T4i, and most time I shoot in what is called Aperture priority, and take a RAW and J

PG picture at the same time. RAW allows more flexibility when it comes time to edit the pictures. RAW is basically a digital negative (going old school there if you don't know what a negative is.) My editing is done with Photoshop. In most cases I'll edit and provide 3 formats of the picture. One formatted to print 4x6, one to print 5x7, and one to print 8x10. Because of how todays' world works (aka digital mediums), I don't hard print any pictures, but provide them to you on a CD with a print release.

Had a little brain stutter and didn't set up this weeks pictures to post.
------
This weeks pictures:
New Pool. Raising the R, Motel/bank, townhomes.
Richfield Pool: nothing really new on the outside. They've drained the pool, so next up plastering and the deck.
Raising the R: Don't see anything new
Motel/Bank: Nice level lot with no debris left -- will not update until construction starts again.
Townhomes: They still have the scaffolding up, and this week doing what looks like utility work in front of the building.

How Long have I been taking pictures part 2. A long long loooong time. This one is a 39 year, 3 picture look at the P...

How Long have I been taking pictures part 2. A long long loooong time. This one is a 39 year, 3 picture look at the Park Meadows Area of Park City Utah . . . . 39 years and, well, you can't get to the exact spot any more.

You know you've been taking pictures for a long, long, looooong time -- when you go back to the same spot (or as close a...

You know you've been taking pictures for a long, long, looooong time -- when you go back to the same spot (or as close as possible) and take 4 pictures over 39 years.

This weeks pictures:
New Pool. Raising the R, Motel/bank, townhomes.
Richfield Pool: Looked like a little more prep work on the parking lot. Sneak peak inside and what to the wondering eye should appear -- a full swimming pool. Don't jump for joy yet. Schedule they mentioned was cement, Fill with water to do a leak check. Drain it and do the plaster, then fill it again.
Raising the R: Looks like they back filled the foundation.
Motel/Bank: Nice level lot with no debris left
Townhomes: They still have the scaffolding up, and this week doing what looks like utility work in front of the building.
Unless I've found time in my busy weekend schedule, no video this week.

Have a new video this week -- three parts on it. First segment is the Richfield City Pool Construction. Second segment is new townhomes on 800 South, and finally removal of the old Nights in Motel.

This weeks pictures:
New Pool. Raising the R, Motel/bank, townhomes.
Richfield Pool: A little more work on the parking lot, and the area in front of the main entrance. Peak in at the drying cement..
Raising the R: Doesn't look like any changes this week.
Motel/Bank: Pretty much all the debris has been hauled out, leaving a nice level building lot..
Townhomes: They've got scaffolding up around the North and West sides. Looks like it will be some kind of stucco based on the stacks of bags by the building.

This weeks pictures:
New Pool. Raising the R, Motel/bank, townhomes.
Richfield Pool: They have started to move some dirt on the parking lot area. Finished the cement pour of the pools.
Raising the R: They have the foundations poured.
Motel/Bank: They removed the last of the old "L" building and just have a little clean up to make it a vacant lot.
Townhomes: Not much changed on the outside. did see a very large truck with a lot of sheetrock unloading into the building this week.
