Twelve things I struggle with as an equine and western lifestyle photographer 👇🏼
1. Finding the balance between perfected photos and real life
2. Interacting with new people as a very introverted person
3. Accidentally cutting off feet in photos and having to be VERY conscious about it 😅
4. Sitting at my desk doing computer work all day
5. Imposter syndrome, need I say more?
6. Trying to make horses and humans both look good at the same time because somebody is always making a weird face
7. Explaining that candid photos actually take a lot of intention and skill
8. Fighting wind, dust, harsh sun, cold days, and still making it look beautiful
9. Trying not to compare my work to photographers in completely different industries and styles
10. Being the photographer, editor, marketer, accountant, social media manager, and customer service rep all at once
11. Delivering galleries and then overthinking whether people actually love the photos
12. Explaining that western lifestyle photography is more than just an aesthetic
