as photographers and videographers, we roll up to Friday night games carrying thousands of dollars in gear, standing on the sidelines for hours, and putting time into color-grading just to help athletes look their absolute best.
when a watermark is placed on an unpurchased or complimentary photo (such as this one), it isn't there to ruin the shot. it’s credit for our labor.
using AI tools to remove a creator’s watermark and edit their work without permission isn't just a copyright issue...it disrespects the entire creative community. if a photographer hooks you up or covers your game, the absolute minimum return is keeping their logo intact and giving credit where it's due.
