Not many know the face behind the camera because many of you have never personally met me.
So let me introduce myself.
My name is Ashley.
I am an active firefighter with the Punxsutawney Fire Department and a member of Lindsey Fire Company Station 40.
I am also a mom, restaurant manager, and a published photographer.
My busy life and being a firefighter myself sometimes keeps me from being able to capture other first responders in action.
This page is still active and I’m hoping I’ll be able to do better at posting soon!

So yesterday while picking up the fire truck for Pink Heals, I couldn't help but snap a few photos of the gorgeous rigs that Shavers Creek Fire Co. has!! They definitely have some nice looking rigs that's for sure! Stay safe out there guys!! 💕

I am beyond blessed to be a part of Pink Heals Punxsutawney Western Pa Chapter and it was an honor being able to go today and capture our Chapter picking up this Pierce Engine which was donated to the Chapter by the Shavers Creek Fire Co.. Upon getting it home to Punxsutawney, we had to give it her official name by having none other than cancer survivor Lesa Walker sign the dash! Please join me in welcoming Lesa, the new fire truck of the Pink Heals Punxsutawney Western Pa Chapter!!! 😍

I would like to take this time to thank each and every one of you that has supported me and my fire photography!!!
With that being said, I know it’s been far and in between since I have been able to do photos of any calls. Unfortunately due to work it’s been tough. With the new year right around the corner I would also like to make an announcement.
I am very proud to say that I am now an active firefighter!! What does that mean for Flashover Photography? Well that isn’t goodbye, I promise you that! But it does mean that I will be limited even more on doing photos unless they are for departments other than my own.
Again this is not goodbye, but a new beginning to a new year!! 💕
