I loved my wedding cake - Chris and I both wanted it to be carrot cake flavored, and we asked our baker to decorate it with a blue marbled fondant on the outside. It was so, so pretty! 🥂

But if we had to re-do our wedding, I think I would want a cake as beautiful as this one from . Look at those crystals! ✨

I’ve been thinking of all the restaurants, stores, creative services, and more that I’ve benefitted SO MUCH from throughout the years, and just felt this overwhelming desire to show them how much I appreciate them.

I’ve been so, so homesick lately.

For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been based in Idaho for less than three years. Before I moved here, I was an event photographer for a local company in Budapest, Hungary (my hometown).

I was supposed to head back this summer to renew my passport and see my family, but with the uncertainty COVID-19 has brought us, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to return. And I’ll be real, that thought super sucks.

For now, I’ll just be sitting here in my little Rexburg home, cherishing the beautiful pictures that took for me seven months before I moved. ✨

I’ve been working on my website all morning, and got around to thinking what it means to be productive.

I started remodeling my website at the beginning of LAST YEAR and still haven’t finished. I’ve worked with multiple designers and so much of my own time, but kept starting over because I didn’t know how to just let go and get it done, even if it won’t be perfect.

How often do we hold ourselves back from accomplishing something great because we’re afraid we won’t do it right?

You don’t have to learn a new language or write a novel or deep clean your house or whatever in the next week. But if you have something you want to accomplish, and you have the capacity to start it - believe me, just start. Give yourself grace and do the little bit that you can, every day.

Or else you’ll end up like me and take a year and a half to finish something that should have only taken a few weeks. 😅

Is there anything new that you’ve picked up on since staying at home?Chris and I started a Marvel movie marathon, where we watch one per day in order of release date.

We’ve also started doing daily workout videos together in our living room, and running in the park (when social distancing allows it). Have you started up a new hobby?
