BTS ALERT!! Behind every amazing photo, there is an equally amazing light set up! This photo was done with some led lights and a plexiglass bottom. Get creative with your set up and be conscious of your light. How does it look on your product? Where is there glare? Is the label on the product legible? What type of shadow do I want on the product? All good things to keep in mind when photographing a product.

The amount of patience these photos took was unreal! Getting your trigger finger lined up perfectly with the droplets splashing on the water was such a euphoric feeling. These are just 2 out of hundreds of photos that I took in a crowded little dark closet. Major key alert!!! Make sure your memory (SD) card is fast enough!! A personal fav of mine is the Lexar brand. Before purchasing, look for how big of MB/s the card can handle. If it's over 100 MB/s you're off to a good start. These cards come in the 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB versions. Find them on amazon and get started on your motion project.

Captured a galaxy in my bathroom💫. I’m currently on a break from school and don’t have my camera equipment. So I’m getting creative with phone photography. You don’t need an expensive camera to take photos like this! Your phone can do just as good of a job! To get this photo just take a photo in the dark with flash and edit your exposure to create this effect. No Photoshop or Lightroom needed!

My lil camera and I have seen so many different ways to capture a photo and have met so many wonderful people along the way. This was a year of growth and learning in how to not only be a better photographer but to have confidence in my art. It’s nerve wracking to share yourself with the world but knowing that I like it is good enough for me. Here’s to another year of learning and growing.

Seeing double? My partner in crime Jessie Hazel Creative and I got creative with long exposure using the yongnuo yn360 ii led light wand. Opening your aperture in pitch black for 15-30 seconds can make your light source look like paint strokes. Grab a flashlight and get creative! You never know what results you will get! This retreat was everything! I learned so much about not only being a women in the workforce but also realized my potential as a business professional. .byui leadership is out of this world!
