September is Su***de Awareness Month
Su***de is the tenth leading cause of death in the United States. There is no one leading cause for su***de however, depression is the most common condition associated with it. Anxiety and substance abuse issues, especially if left untreated, can also increase the risk. There are many people out there who have struggled with suicidal thoughts at one point in their lives.
Help make a difference by opening up discussions about these feelings and the importance of Mental Health. Together we can break the silence and the stigma. We would like to invite you to join our private Scars Foundation Group on Facebook. It is a safe and closely monitored community where you can share these thoughts as well as give and receive moral support through challenging times. No one should have to suffer in silence alone.
