“She was my first love… and now my last.” 🤍

K + J went to their high school prom together in 1986. Then life happened. He left for college, she finished high school, they lost touch, built separate lives, got married, had children, and eventually found themselves single again.

Forty years later, he found her on Facebook and asked if she’d meet him for coffee.

That coffee turned into forever.

On Sunday they finally said, “I do.”

Watching them together, you would never guess there had been 40 years in between. Some love stories don’t follow the timeline we expect, they wait until the timing is right.

Netflix US… this one deserves to be a movie. ✨🤍

This day🤍
We woke up early for Lucianna and Brandon to say “I do” as the sun rose with just their family there to witness. They went to the beach to spend the rest of the day as newly weds and then we hiked to the most amazing wildflower field for sunset. Words do not do this day justice!

When I say “I love my job”… I mean every word. How lucky am I to be the one to capture the most special moments in someone’s life, to be the one to document those once in a lifetime moments, the one trusted to make their vision come to life. I left this day feeling so grateful and lucky for this job, this life, and everyone person who has chosen and trusted me along the way.🤍

A quiet beach, a warm summer evening, the sun just starting to set, and not another person in sight. Just the two of them… and then he dropped to one knee.

She was completely caught off guard. She had no idea he even had a ring, let alone that this was the moment he was about to ask her to spend forever with him. Between the happy tears, the laughter, and the biggest smile, her yes couldn’t come fast enough.

These are the moments I’ll never get tired of documenting. 🤍

One of the best parts of my job is getting to tell the same family’s story through all the seasons.

From their engagement sessions, to their wedding day, to maternity photos, newborn snuggles, and now family photos with baby number three. We spent the afternoon running through tall grass, chasing little feet, soaking up the sunshine, and documenting this new season exactly as it is.

Watching families grow is special. Getting to be the one trusted to preserve those memories year after year is something I’ll never take for granted. 🤍

Golden light, tall pine trees, big boulders, an empty beach all to ourselves, and two people who get to say “I do” in just a few months.

We hiked, we climbed rocks, we laughed, we chased the last light of the day, and ran barefoot on the beach.

This engagement session left me speechless✨
