Life is full of ups and downs, highs and lows. Sometimes it feels like everything goes our way and sometimes it feels like the universe is against us. We experience love and loss, happiness and sadness, hope and fear. The human experience is hard and challenging, but can also be so rewarding.

Everyone is in their own experience, their own phase of life, their own journey. And we’re all just trying to do our best.

We make mistakes, we overcome hard things, we learn, we grow. We are endlessly moving and changing and rarely staying the same.

I recently heard a quote that I’ve been thinking about a lot; “you can’t step in the same river twice.”
A river is always moving and changing, and so are we.

Last year, I stood behind my camera as Viv + Jeff said their “I do’s,” promising forever on a perfect summer day.
I watched two little girls become sisters,
and the four of them become one family.

Now, a year later, I get to witness their love grow even more, another sweet girl on the way,
another chapter unfolding 🩷
