I've been incredibly rusty about writing... well, quite frankly, anything, in the last few months. However, I am doing my best to get back into photography and other artistic endeavors. I've decided I'm going to start challenging myself to post at least one photo every month. So keep an eye out for that. If you care to voice your encouragement for such an endeavor, it would definitely be welcome.

Here is another post from the WeberShots blog! I've been thinking. I have two voices on the internet (well, two that I care about, anyway); I've got this blog, WeberShots, and I've got Thoughts (of a 20-something-year-old engineer). The tag-line for WeberShots, up until this point, has been "A blog of just about anything related to WeberShots or photography." Admittedly, I've been fairly sparse in my postings on either of those two topics.
I excuse myself because I'm a college student, and even if its a year later before I do, I will eventually post on here again. On the flipside, Thoughts many a post about various food ventures for this college undergrad, including breaded fish, grape pie, rice-noodle potstickers, pizza-dillas, and banana cinnamon buttermilk pancakes. I'm not saying they don't belong on that blog, but I do want to switch things up for a bit. WeberShots has been emptier not because I've given up photography altogether, but because it has taken a different role in my life as of late.
So I'm going to liven up my WeberShots blog a bit with another form of art: food photography. I'm not going for amazing here, I'm just indulging my tendency to be a foodie. MelodyWed is a company founded by a good college friend of mine, Jessica. The link to the website explains what they do, but in short MelodyWed writes love songs for engaged couples. On their marriage day, the couple will get to dance to a song they can call their own.

This is a venture I've personally never heard about before. Though odd to some, I think it is a worthy venture. We throw our money on a daily basis at ventures which mean so much less than the goals of this company. MelodyWed is about supporting long-lasting marriages, which means that MelodyWed is about supporting the wonderful gift that is a commitment between a couple and their Creator.

Worth it. I am in full support of such a venture.

I came across this old repair guide on iFixit tonight. I worked on this for a Technical Writing class a couple years back. All the photos in the repairs are my doing. Back then, I was only focused on the assignment at hand, but I realize now that I'm fairly proud of those photos.

The Samsung Jack Model features a full QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and Windows Mobile 6.1 OS.
