I’m happy to say I’m soft launching the reopening of my photography business, with a focus on small-scale projects. While I am not currently accepting wedding bookings, if you are in the Reno/Carson/Tahoe area, schedule a sessions with me.

Jamie and Sean reached out to me last year about their wedding and I was super excited to talk all things getting married. is one of my favorite wedding locations here in Tahoe, and they had me on their vendor list (which was a great way to start the conversation; a stroke to my ego).

When I met them, I could honestly say they fit right in with all of my clients I book:
1. Super sweet.
2. Madly in love.
3. Focused on the candid natural images they could get on there big day.

On one of their trips out to Tahoe, I got to capture their engagement photos. I don’t get to do that very often since I’m more of a destination photographer these days. I got to meet their little pup Cooper and it was the absolute highlight of my day.

Just like them, their pupper was so sweet and full of love.

Congratulations on your beautiful day surrounded by so many wonderful people. I know you’ll have so many amazing and fulfilling years together. I can’t wait to see where this life takes you!

I’m officially closing my wedding books for the rest of 2022! ⁣

I’m prepping for my “half price holiday” special I run every year. Mini sessions for the holidays, which on its own can be a pretty crazy season for me. ⁣

Pamela + Phil⁣

I am so incredibly grateful that I got to be a part of your big day.⁣
⁣
From the moment Pamela told me about her amazing relationship, I was so excited to celebrate these two coming together after nearly 8 years! ⁣
⁣
These two met in grad school, supported each other, adventured with each other, and fell absolutely head over heels. ⁣
⁣
I always tell you guys that my favorite part of being a wedding photographer is getting to capture the way my couples look at each other. And I mean, these photos say more than I ever could. ⁣
⁣
Through out the entire day I got to hear speeches from those who knew them best talk about the relentless love they have for each other, their three legged little pup, and the wonderful outdoors. ⁣
⁣
I found out, in my endless quest to get to know these two, that they love Jane the Virgin. So much so that Phillip even included some Spanish in his vows for Pamela. So I want to end my long winded post with a quote that I think fits these two perfectly…⁣

But I just wanted to slide in and wish a very happy anniversary to the couple that seems to always be freezing their butts off in front of my camera when we’re creating magic.⁣

✨Robin + Arvi✨⁣

Robin reached out to me just two weeks before their big day and I was so happy I had their date available. ⁣
⁣
With the short notice, I really didn’t get much time to get to know my couple before their wedding day. Which is a lot different than my normal process.⁣
⁣
When I showed up on their wedding day, I was greeted by Arvi almost immediately. He was incredibly inviting and kind. And of course very excited to be getting married.⁣
⁣
But here’s the crazy thing… I didn’t see Robin until she was walking down the isle.⁣
⁣
When these two met at the alter, you could feel the love in the room. ⁣
⁣
From family.⁣
⁣
From friends.⁣
⁣
From them.⁣
⁣
It was beautiful.⁣
⁣
Here’s what I learned about these two from their vows and our photos after:⁣
⁣
These two met in a climbing gym. (And most of you know my love for climbing). They love to boulder most of all because it’s stripped off all the extra equipment and madness, and leaves behind just the climbing.⁣
⁣
Which is similar to who they are as people. Stripped down to the basics and necessities. ⁣
⁣
They have seen the world together, wrapped in love. Armed with a tent at first but now they’ve upgraded to a van. They’re living for each day and now they get to do that together in marriage.⁣
⁣
I am humbled to have been there to watch them celebrate with friends and family. To witness their love for not only each other but all those that surrounded them yesterday.⁣
⁣
Congratulations to both of you.⁣

I hope you continue to be strong and support each other as you navigate life with your forever spotter. 💙⁣

The amount of times I’ve started this post is nearly countless.⁣

I start saying what I think will do these pictures justice and the words just don’t come out.⁣

This past weekend I was able to finish my first shoot in a series I’ve tasked myself with completing in 2022.⁣

I have never been more humbled by a shoot in my career.⁣

I don’t do a lot of maternity shoots anymore.⁣

I really don’t shoot much outside of weddings anymore. ⁣

But when a gorgeous soon to be mama of 2 reaches out to you, you have to just drop everything and create some magic. ⁣

I reached out to Ashes & Embers to get a couple of gorgeous dresses. ⁣
⁣
We went out and braved some crazy Nevada wind.⁣
⁣
And we celebrate a wonderful moment for this growing family. ⁣
