Fellow business owner friends, what’s your routine?

When you’re not meeting with clients, do you work from home? A coffee shop? A coworking space?

I think my ADHD brain likes a change of scenery and things going on around me. I’m able to focus so much better than in a quiet environment.

Six years and two full-time businesses in, and I might finally be ready to shake up my routine. 👀

A little adjustment can make a big difference.

One of the most common questions I get is, “”What do I do with my pose?”” The truth is, you don’t have to figure it out on your own. During your session, I’m constantly making small adjustments to help you look and feel your best.

In this reel, I’m using a simple posing block on the chair to create better posture, more flattering angles, and a relaxed, natural look. It’s one of those behind-the-scenes details most people never notice, but it makes a huge difference in the final images.

You don’t need modeling experience. You just need to show up, and I’ll guide you the rest of the way.

Ever wonder how photographers get toddlers to actually smile?

Spoiler: it’s usually not by saying, “”Say cheese.””

It’s silly noises, made-up games, ridiculous questions, animal sounds, and about 47% complete nonsense. Whatever keeps little ones engaged long enough for those real smiles and genuine expressions to show up.

The goal isn’t to make your child sit perfectly still. It’s to make them feel comfortable enough to be themselves.

Those are the moments that become the photos you frame, because they look like your kids, not kids who were told to smile for the camera.

So yes, there may be some dancing, funny voices, and a little controlled chaos behind the scenes... but if it gets those authentic smiles, it’s completely worth it. 🤍

It’s been a busy stretch, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

From business owners and entrepreneurs to corporate teams and professionals refreshing their online presence, we’ve had the chance to photograph some incredible people over the past few weeks.
