After a little winter break it’s soooo good to be back 😌✨

I couldn’t have felt more alive shooting my first engagement session of the year with these two lovely people. Less than 100 days till their wedding and counting it down with excitement.

I couldn’t let any more time pass without sharing Elizabeth and Matthew’s wedding day that unfolded like something out of a country love story.

Out on the ranch, they said their vows beneath open skies, and I stood back letting the quiet do the storytelling. When you give space for stillness, magic always shows up.

I always tell my couples their job is to be fully present in the moment and my job is to protect it. These two did just that. My approach is always simple. Step back, soften the noise, and make room for the real stuff. Because love doesn’t need constant staging just space to breathe.

The Sierra Valley has this quiet kind of beauty that sneaks up on you. Wide open skies, golden fields, and that soft evening light that makes everything feel calm.

We spent the evening exploring Zane’s family’s ranch, the place where stories are rooted deep in the soil. No rush, no big production just the two of them, taking it all in.
The way he looked at her, the way she laughed it all just fit here.

Engagement sessions like this remind me why I love what I do honest moments, beautiful light, and love that feels like home.
