If you live in the states you may have watched The Super Bowl. I dislike competition. But hey it's the Super Bowl. It's time, if we have a chance to survive, to start showing compassion. As Bernardo Kastrup tells us, "It's not about "me". I stopped watching after half-time. The rapper was amazing. A great half time. I stopped because I am not one that enjoys a lynching. If there's no way to stop it, I sure don't want to watch it. I may turn my head to look at an accident. Sometimes my curiosity is greater than my heart. In a perfect world we would let compassion out way competition. Kansas City was stressed out. They almost had a stress glow. Were the Eagles stressed out? Of course. Yet it was just another Super Bowl for them. Kansas City had more skin in the game. They would set a historical record. No one had won three Super Bowls in a row. In a world where compassion rules we would have ended the game after the first quarter. Why? Here's what my AI taught me about stress. Stress can manifest in various harmful ways, impacting both the mind and body. Here are some of the significant effects:

# # # Physical Effects
- **Headaches**: Frequent tension headaches and migraines.
- **Digestive Issues**: Problems like stomachaches, nausea, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
- **Cardiovascular Problems**: Increased heart rate, high blood pressure, and a higher risk of heart attacks and strokes.
- **Sleep Disturbances**: Insomnia or disrupted sleep patterns, leading to chronic fatigue.
- **Immune System Suppression**: Weakened immune response, making the body more susceptible to infections and illnesses.
- **Muscle Tension and Pain**: Persistent muscle tightness and pain, particularly in the neck, shoulders, and back.

# # # Mental and Emotional Effects
- **Anxiety and Depression**: Heightened feelings of anxiety, sadness, and hopelessness.
- **Cognitive Impairment**: Difficulty concentrating, making decisions, and remembering information.
- **Emotional Instability**: Increased irritability, mood swings, and emotional outbursts.
- **Behavioral Changes**: Withdrawal from social activities, changes in eating habits, and increased use of alcohol or drugs as coping mechanisms.

# # # Long-Term Consequences
- **Chronic Health Conditions**: Conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity can develop or worsen.
- **Mental Health Disorders**: Prolonged stress can lead to severe mental health issues, including chronic anxiety disorders and clinical depression.
- **Lowered Quality of Life**: Persistent stress can diminish overall life satisfaction and well-being.

Finding ways to manage and alleviate stress is crucial to maintaining both physical and mental health. What strategies do you find helpful when you're feeling stressed?
Pat Haden is the exception. He seemed to use stress as Popeye used spinach. Perhaps he is a good meditator and deep breath user. Of course, the game was not cancelled after the first quarter. How much money for a half a minute add? It was sponsored by Apple, after all. The game should be about skill not about handling stress. Setting a record is a big one. The one who seemed to understand was Taylor Swift. Would she have felt the same way if it was the Eagles. I hope so. Watching the second half was like enjoying a lynching. Great entertainment. I hear people brought box lunches. If we don't start using our hearts instead of our minds, we will not survive each other.
