But summer was so great!

& per usual it doesn’t feel like I lived it enough.

But who am I kidding - fall is my FAVORITE season! 🍁

There’s something about the crispness of the air, the smell of the pumpkin spice & the feeling of slowing down

& im adding a new hobby to my slow season this year…

I know it popped off forever ago but your girl is finally gonna start making sourdough loaves! 😂🤍 I pick up my starter from a good friend tomorrow, I’ve got all the supplies and I {sorta} know what I’m doing!

It started with a big trailer & a drive

We ended up in the most beautiful farm surrounded by cows who were… very curious about our arrival

(I think they mostly wanted to be friends with the pony though) 💕🐴

But the celebration of these two? Iconic. The little details, the ring, the way even the horses wanted to be part of it

With a subset I’ll dream about

Not to sound like a quote you’ve read over and over but…

Controlling the outcome is impossible. We can of course work hard to shape the future we want, but in experience things come at you when you least expect them.

Sometimes you’re moving along at a break night speed and something just brings you to your knees. Other times you get such a boost from something you could ride that high for a long time.

life is unpredictable.

& the best thing you can do for yourself is learning how to handle the highs and the lows, & living in the unknown.

But … 😵‍💫

Being an optimistic person I’ve always been really good at taking a low, thinking through the worst case and being able to put it to 💤 because what’s the point in worrying twice.

But it’s the highs for me… because I worry they’ll be short lived. That I don’t deserve them. That this success is just a one off and that if I let up on momentum I’ll fail.

& tbh I don’t have answers for how to handle that other than doing my best to trust that good will continue to come, that if I’m doing my best karma will have my back.
