30 feels a lot different than I thought it would.
I thought I’d be thinking about age or milestones but instead I keep thinking about all the people that got me here.
The couples who trusted me enough to cry in front of me, the parents who were watching their babies get married, the quiet moments that nobody saw but me and my camera.
And somehow 5,000 of you are here with me too.
I’m about to hit 5,000 followers and honestly sitting in so much gratitude right now. Turning 30 and hitting this milestone at the same time feels like such a full circle moment not because of a number but because of everything those numbers represent. Growth, trust, relationships, late nights, learning, taking chances and building something from the ground up that I truly love.
Photography has always been so much more to me than taking a beautiful image. It’s preserving a feeling before it becomes a memory. For me, it has always been about the people and I feel so blessed every time someone invites me into the most important day of their lives. This business has given me a chance to create art that means something and connect with people in such a personal way, and that will never be lost on me. I still get excited over every inquiry because behind every email is a real story and real people trusting ME.
