Stepping into the remains of the Hanover Satellite Station in Illinois feels like walking onto a sci-fi movie set. 🛸

These massive concrete cylinders were once the backbone of global communication for AT&T back in the '70s. Today, they stand as silent giants in the middle of a field—a graveyard for the technology that once connected the world.

There’s something incredibly haunting yet beautiful about how nature is slowly reclaiming this piece of Cold War-era tech history. 🌿📡

This vibrant, hand-carved mask is a masterpiece of Boruca art from Costa Rica. The piece fuses powerful nature iconography with the ancestral tradition of the 'Fiesta de los Diablitos.' Piece created by Galeo Maroto, an Indigenous Boruca who proudly represented his culture at the 2024 Rose Parade.

La pieza fusiona la poderosa iconografía de la naturaleza con la tradición ancestral de la 'Fiesta de los Diablitos'.
