"Freedom to Dream"

In honor of Juneteenth, here's a film treatment I wrote and Directed for Major League Soccer. This treatment included a combination of stills and a finished 1-minute film. It was an honor to be a part of this amazing initiative and a major thank you to Cedric D. Shine, Sola Winley (he/him/his), and the MLS crew for believing in me.

In collaboration with Black Players For Change MLS is honoring hashtag

by uniting players at every level through a shared vision for change in our sport. Tonight, players will wear a special “I AM #19” pre-match top to celebrate the day and remind us of the need for continued progress in bridging the racial equality gap.

I’m proud to say that I got accepted into one of the most prestigious unions there is Local 600 The International Cinematographers Guild which represents the most talented camera professionals in the world.

It took a long time to get here. 12 years of consistency, building relationships, and creating work that can make an impact on those who see it. Keep in mind: that all of this didn’t come easy. We all have our own demons to battle, especially Imposter syndrome 🙃
The most important things that I did was stay true to myself, work my ass off, stayed humble, and always treated people with the utmost kindness and respect.

This positivity has always come back to me tenfold:)

Excited for what’s to come.
